In terms of vegan options, there is a vegetarian phở, a delicious soup made with vegetable broth, noodles, tofu and some fresh vegetables. In addition, there are some vermicelli dishes on the menu, though none of them are vegetarian. We asked for a vegan version, served with tofu, which was grilled and seasoned.
This restaurant has gone through several iterations, and the menus posted online are out-of-date (as of 7/8/16). Unfortunately, those show additional vegan options that are not available on the current menu. Hopefully, though, some of those items will return. As of now, however, we enjoyed our two entrees and the summer rolls. The staff is friendly and helpful as well.
One wish… we hope that someplace soon in Toledo will include a vegan banh mi (a delicious Vietnamese sandwich served on crusty bread) on their menu. Amango, if you’re reading this, we’ll be there all the time once it makes it onto your menu!
