Hot Head Burritos is like Chipotle and Qdoba in that it is a build-your-own burrito place. You can choose burrito, bowl, tacos, nachos or quesadillas as your foundation. And then you pick the veggies, sauces and toppings.

They have black beans and pinto beans (both vegan), grilled vegetables, shredded iceberg lettuce, fresh onions, banana peppers, jalapeños and guacamole with several salsas, too. The signature touch of Hot Head is there wide range of sauces that you can add. Sauces that are vegan are sweet habanero, Louisiana green, Louisiana red, Tabasco chipotle, Louisiana horseradish, Cholula hot sauce and extreme and straight habanero. There is a honey BBQ for those who eat honey.

Guacamole is free for vegetable burritos (and the other veg entrees), which is a nice touch. Their web site is helpful in that they have an allergen chart with milk and egg listed on there. One of the things that we like about Hot Head is that they have a small burrito and small bowl. For those of us who feel like we have to eat everything on our plate, this is a nice way to get some portion control (and save some $$$).

Hot Head is a regional chain with two locations in Northwest Ohio. They pride themselves on having fresh vegetables prepared daily. We enjoyed our meal there!

Hot head is amazing. I eat there multiple times a week. As a vegan this is definitely my #1 place to eat. Just a heads up ask for your beans drained well because they hold them in water which if not drained off before put in you bowl or burrito your food will be soggy and not good. Also on the plus side they offer grilled onion and green pepper which is delicious and if you really like a certain sauce you can buy a bottle for at home!!!! Its all around a great place everyone should check out.
